generációk óta foglalkozik méhészettel. a képek náluk készültek, éppen egy
nagy méhrajt szedtek le a fáról.

A méhek csodálatos teremtmények, és a munka velük még
csodálatosabb, ha le tudod küzdeni a félelmedet. Ráadásul ha az apukád az, aki
tanítgat, akkor az mindennél többet ér.
Lehet, hogy sokan azt gondoljátok, a méhek gyakran vadul csípnek. Valójában ez nem igaz. Csak bizonyos méhek csípnek, bizonyos időben, bizonyos feltételek mellett, és mindig nagyon jó okuk van rá, hiszen egy csípés az életükbe kerül.
A kaptárban mindenkinek megvan a maga feladata (némely méh például csak szellőzteti a kaptárat egy meleg napon...).
Most a rajzások időszaka van - mint a képeken is láthatjátok. A méhek gombócba tömörülve zsongnak fenn a fán. A méhész lerázza őket a köpűbe, és beönti a kaptárba. Van, hogy közben szinte alig támadnak. Elvonja a figyelmüket az anya jelenléte.
Az anyának van fullánkja, de szinte soha nem csíp. A herének nincs fullánkja, nem képes a csípésre, de majdnem olyan nagy mint az anya. A dolgozók csípnek, de csak egyszer, azután elpusztulnak.

Bees are just wonderful creatures and the work with them is even more
wonderful if you can surpass your fear. On top of that, this experience is
priceless, if the man who trains you is actually your father.
Maybe many of you think that bees are often violently stabbing. This is not true. Only certain bees are stabbing in certain time under certain conditions and they stab only when they have very good reason for that, as it costs their life.

In the beehive everybody have their duty or task (for example some bees are
just ventilate the beehive on a hot day...).
Currently we are in the season of the swarmings, like you can see on the pictures. Bees are converging into "cannon" ball and they are buzzing over the tree. We just shake them into a special receptacle. It is very usual, that they are attacking only a bit when we perform this task, because the presence of the mother (queen) unleashes, distracts them.
The mother (queen) has sting, but it almost never stabs. The drone (male) doesn´t have sting, it is not able to stab, but it has almost the same size as the queen. The worker bees can stab, but only once, than they die.
